It is very important that your child has the correct gear. Nga Rakau Nui students are allowed to wear mufti for the entire week. They must bring a complete change of clothes to wear yachting and kayaking.

Clothing:
  • Sneakers or river shoes (to get wet)
  • Polar fleece
  • Thermal
  • Wetsuit or Togs (to wear under warm clothes)
  • Shorts (only thermals or skins are acceptable as long pants)
  • Woolly hat and a sun hat
  • Sunscreen
  • Extra food
  • Water/drink bottles

All money must be paid or arranged to be paid through the office, prior to week 9. No money is to be taken to Pandora. All children must bring a substantial packed lunch and drink. A copy of the timetable is on the reverse of this notice. Please check what days your child needs to be at school by 7:45am. Please assume we are going,

If your child is attending the first session, they will need to be at school at 7:45am to ensure they do not miss the bus.
If your child is attending the last session, they will arrive back at school at approximately 3:15pm.

Kia ora, we look forward to a fantastic week!
